School History

The Geraldine Inder School of Dance and Drama was established over 60 years ago. It has a rich history of characters and achievements.

Dance School Location

We have two spacious dance studio's situated just minutes away from the CBD. The studio address is: 111 Colombo Road, Masterton.

Speech and Drama

Both ballet and speech syllabi are internationally accredited. Remaining dance syllabi are accredited to NZAMD.

Teaching Staff

As tireless as Geraldine and Nicola are, they can't do it all alone and so we have an experienced and talented pool of teachers to assist.

Productions

As performing arts are an integral part of the school, every student is encouraged to take a part in the end of year annual production. These are currently held in the Masterton town hall.

The school has a performed a recital, pantomime or production almost every year since 1949. A complete appears in the gallery section under: Production History
